ISRO Chief delighted with textbook launch of RISAT-1

ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan termed the launch of all-weather radar imaging satellite RISAT-1, as a grand success. He said that currently, the satellite was pointing towards earth and the process of imaging would start from May 1. The ISRO Chief further said that RISAT-1 would help India and also the neighbouring countries in case of any major disaster.
