JD(U) rejects Modi as PM candidate, BJP evasive

The Janata Dal (United) on Sunday refused to budge from their stance of not accepting Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate for NDA. BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi however clarified that the JDU was a trusted and faithful ally.
