Justice Altamas Kabir sworn in as New CJI

Justice Altamas Kabir, the seniormost judge of the Supreme Court, has been sworn-in as the new Chief Justice of India. He succeeds Justice Sarosh Homi Kapadia, and will serve a tenure of nine months till July next year.
