Key ally pulls out of ruling coalition in Kashmir

A key ally of Congress in Kashmir on Saturday pulled out of the ruling coalition leaving the government on shaky ground few months before the polls. The people's Democratic Party had pending differences over transfer of forestland to a revered Hindu shrine board. PDP is junior ally with 18 legislators in the 87-member state assembly while Congress has 21 members.
