Khirki midnight raid: AAP leader Somnath Bharti's version of events

Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ​party minister Somnath Bharti has submitted footage in the court ​​to back his case regarding his midnight raid this January at the house of a group of African residents living in Khirki Extension, south Delhi. According to Bharti, this video, accessed by HT, shows the “true course of events” which took place on the night of the raid by him and his followers. ​ Bharti has asked the court to direct FIRs to be registered against the cops who handled the investigation on the basis that they registered the molestation and racial hatred complaint against him with mala fide and politically motivated intent. The court is due to rule on this application on November 3.
