Left to meet on June 21 to devise strategy for prez polls

The Left parties will meet on June 21 to devise their strategy for the upcoming presidential polls. Senior leader of the Communist Party of India (CPI) AB Bardhan said that the ruling UPA headed by the Congress Party should first declare a final candidate. Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Hamid Ansari are first and second choice respectively, of Congress Party chief Sonia Gandhi.
