Manipur gear up for Republic Day, despite boycott call

Locals gear up for the Republic Day despite boycott call given by the militants in insurgency hit Manipur.The militant outfits in the state have asked some government schools of Imphal not to participate in the march-past competition in the coming Republic Day celebration this year. Warnings have been sent to at least six Government schools located in various parts of the state.
