Manmohan Singh calls for enhanced unity among SAARC nations

Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh while addressing the fifth conference of Association of SAARC Speakers and Parliamentarians in New Delhi on Saturday, called for enhanced unity among SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) nations. He urged member countries to cooperate with each other to deal with issues such as poverty, climate change and extremism. Highlighting the common cultural and historical bonds shared by SAARC member states, Singh said issues of common concern could be resolved through mutual cooperation.
