Modi picks up a broom, kick starts the Swachh Bharat campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi symbolically wielded a broom at Valmiki Basti on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, and reached out to all Indians to make cleanliness a mass movement. He cleared litter at the Basti and interacted with 'Safai Karamcharis'.
