Modi takes mother’s blessings on his 64th birthday

Gujarat chief minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, who turned 64 on Tuesday, met his mother Hiraben to seek her blessings. Modi also thanked his supporters from across the country who congratulated him with prayers and blessings. Further, Modi said that September 17 also happens to be the day of the worship of Lord Viswakarma, the mechanic-god and also marks the day of independence of Hyderabad from Nizams because of Sardar Patel.
