Modi urges Centre to give nod to GUJCOC Bill

Gujarat CM Narendra Modi during the security meet on Sunday urged Home Minister P Chidambaram and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to give their nod to the Gujarat Control of Organised Crime (GUJCOC) Bill, which has been pending for quite some time. The Bill has been passed by the Gujarat State Assembly four times but has been rejected by the government due to some provisions in it.
