Monica Bedi released from jail

Underworld don Abu Salem's girl friend starlet Monica Bedi was on Wednesday released on bail from the Chenchalguda women prison, where she was serving a three-year sentence in a forged passport case. A special CBI court in Hyderabad granted her bail on Tuesday. She had been asked to furnish a bond of Rs 25,000. The court has also directed authorities to cancel passports, if any, held by her.
