Overflowing Ganga wrecks havoc in UP, Brahmaputra swells in Assam

Flooding in the River Ganga has rendered many people homeless in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. In Brahmpuri and Rawli towns of the district, water has entered houses. Locals complained that the state administration has not done anything to help locals and also fears that stagnant water in the region may cause malaria and dengue.
