Part 2: Highlights of Railway Budget 2013 -14

Union railways minister Pawan Kumar Bansal on Tuesday presented the much awaited rail budget for 2013-14 in the Lok Sabha, stressing on the need to make railways financially sustainable for the benefit of passengers. The 12th Plan railway size is to be Rs 5.19 lakh crore, with gross budgetary support of Rs 1.94 lakh crore, said Bansal.
