Parties’ introspection mode after poor show in polls

Having taken a beating at the just concluded national polls India's main opposition BJP on Thursday termed their performance as far below expectations. Arun Jaitley, BJP's general secretary, told reporters in Bangalore that the party would introspect on the results.
