People conduct special prayers for early rains

Delayed monsoons have become a major cause of worry for Indians across the country. People are trying several Hindu rituals to appease the rain god. In Naini of Uttar Pradesh state, unmarried girls ploughed the fields with a hope of appeasing Hindu rain god 'Indra'.
