PM hopeful of smooth session

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today hoped for a smooth winter session of parliament that begins today. Reacting to NDA's decision to boycott home minister P Chidambaram over his role in the 2G-scam, the PM wished that political parties resist any such temptation and appealed to all political parties to let the House function.
