PM Manmohan Singh meets Telangana leaders

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held a meeting with the Andhra Pradesh leaders in New Delhi today who are demanding the creation for a separate state of Telangana. After meeting, the Leaders also gave a memorandum to the Prime Minister. The issue of the formation of the separate state of Telangana had troubled the ruling Congress party for quite some time. Leaders from Telangana region recently launched a 48-hour long hunger strike on Wednesday in Hyderabad to press their demand for a separate state.
