Pranab’s first speech as Prez

In his first speech as the 13th President of India, Pranab Mukherjee today vowed to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of India not just in words but also in spirit. Pranab urged the nation to erase poverty from the dictionary of modern India. Expressing pride for the valour, conviction and steely determination of the armed forces, Pranab applauded the state of affairs as far as the defence forces of India were concerned.Keywords:
