Ahead of the elections to the Lok Sabha, Lalu Prasad Yadav, chief of Rashtriya Janata Dal and Ram Vilas Paswan, chief of Lok Janashakti Party, jointly campaigned in the historical region of Nalanda in Bihar on Thursday. Although both these regional parties are a part of the central ruling United Progressive Alliance, they contended that with the help of Samajwadi Party, the Congress party will not be given any scope to form the government again.
