Russia welcomes PM's Kudankulam remarks

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's accusation that the protests against Kudankulam nuclear power plant are funded by American NGOs has been supported by Russia. Russian envoy to India, Alexander M Kadakin, said Singh's statement 'vindicated' Russia's stance on the issue. Meanwhile, agitated at the Prime Minister's statement, anti-nuke plan activists have demanded that he either proves his statement or quit politics.
