Shinde backtracks from his 'Sharad Pawar for PM' remark

Union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde backtracked from his controversial remark, that he would be happy to see National Congress Party or NCP chief Sharad Pawar as India's PM. Shinde while speaking to media said that if a Maharashtrian becomes the prime minister then he will feel good. However, Shinde later clarified that Congress' main aim is make the party vice president Rahul Gandhi as the next prime minister.
