The first snowfall of the season paralyzed normal life at Leh in the remote Ladakh region of Kashmir on Saturday. Snowfall lashed high altitude areas of the region including Kargil, Changthang, Zangskar and Nubra hitting the road transport badly. The night temperature recorded in Leh was minus 14 degrees Celsius, while the day temperature was minus eight degrees Celsius. All incoming and outgoing flights have been cancelled because of poor visibility at the airport.
