Sonia expresses concern for Lankan Tamils

Chief of India's ruling Congress party Sonia Gandhi expressed concern for Sri Lankan Tamils. During her address to a joint rally with Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister M Karunanidhi in Chennai, Sonia Gandhi said that it was because of central government's resolute efforts that Sri Lankan government announced the cessation of combat operation.
