State police on alert: Prithviraj Chavan

Maharashtra chief Prithviraj Chavan on Friday said that state police is on alert further informing that the police and other intelligence apparatus have been altered ahead of New Year festivities. Chavan's comment came after Mumbai was put on high alert, as there were reports that four LeT militants had sneaked into the city to carry out strikes during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
