Tata Motors introduces 4-wheel drive crossover Aria

Tata Motors on Monday launched the Tata Aria, the first Indian four-wheel drive crossover that straddles a sport utility and multi-utility vehicle. It offers class-leading features for comfort and safety and the selectable 4x4 is equipped with a Torque-on-Demand system. This seven-seater car was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2010, and was launched by Ratan Tata, the Chairman of the Tata group. The Aria will be rolled-out from the Tata Motors plant at Pune. The company claims that it is the first crossover between a luxury and a sports utility vehicle in the country, and boasts of a four-wheel drive system.
