Telangana row: MLAs resign en masse, Centre in a fix

Telangana statehood issue is on the boil again with all the 33 Telugu Desam Party MLAs and 35 Congress MLAs submitting their resignation to Deputy Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday demanding the division of Andhra Pradesh and the formation of a separate state. Eight Congress MPs who are from Telangana are also scheduled to resign today. Meanwhile, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad requested the MPs for another round of talks before submitting their resignations in New Delhi on Monday.
