TN Govt orders probe into DMK's alleged irregularities

Addressing the legislators at the first assembly session of Tamil Nadu, the newly elected Assembly Speaker, D Jayakumar on Friday announced a Commission of Inquiry to probe the alleged irregularities in the under-construction New Assembly and Secretariat complex. The said complex being built was sanctioned by the previous government, ruled by DMK with M Karunanidhi as the Chief Minister.
