Train derailment: IAF copters join rescue operation

A massive rescue operation has been launched to free trapped passengers at the train collision site at Jhargram in West Bengal on Friday. According to reports, IAF joined rescue operations pressing a Chetak and two medium-lift MI-17 helicopters from Kalikunda air base to assist relief work at the site of the train derailment in Jhargram in West Bengal. Maoist rebels were suspected of sabotaging a high-speed train in Jhargram on Friday, killing at least 65 people after it smashed into the path of a goods train, officials said.
