Truckers' strike called off: TR Baalu

Transport Minister TR Baalu on Monday said the truckers strike launched to demand a cut in taxes, tolls and diesel prices has been called off. Baalu met transport ministers from states in New Delhi and thanked truckers' organization for ending the strike. The strike was called off on its eighth day on Monday. Baalu said he would urge the authorities to release truckers' who had been arrested during the protest.
