UNGA session must mitigate global recession: Nirupama Rao

Addressing the media persons in New Delhi on Saturday, Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said that the forthcoming UN General Assembly (UNGA) session must address issues and build upon global efforts to mitigate the effects of economic crisis. She also added that it is important that a decision to expand the UN Security Council should be discussed and endorsed at the ensuing UNGA.
