UPA Govt woos regional party to stay in power

The Congress led coalition government on Wednesday succeeded in persuading a regional party for the nuclear deal and thereby securing parliamentary majority. National security adviser MK Narayanan met leaders of Samajwadi Party. And as a measure to stop BJP from coming to power, Amar Singh led SP has decided to back the UPA government over the Indo- US nuclear deal.
