Vasundhara Raje is new Rajasthan BJP chief

Ending speculations, BJP president Rajnath Singh on Saturday formally announced that former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje will spearhead the party in the upcoming assembly elections in the state. Singh also announced that Raje will be the new president of the BJP's Rajasthan unit, and is expected to be the party's chief ministerial candidate for the polls.
