Yamuna in spate, flood victims in Delhi voice their plight

Several areas in east Delhi were on Saturday flooded as the water level in the Yamuna River continued to rise dangerously, threatening to submerge low-lying areas. People residing along flooded River Yamuna in national capital expressed their plight about miseries and damages endured by them. The worst affected are the poor rickshaw pullers who have been forced to abandon their home and hearth, and seek shelter on the pavements.
