Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims it shot down a U.S. MQ-1 Predator drone after the aircraft allegedly entered Iranian territorial waters and airspace on May 31. According to Iranian state media, air-defense systems detected and intercepted the drone during what Tehran described as a hostile operation. The United States has not publicly commented on the claim.
