Israeli missile for Russian-origin IAF choppers | What's behind the move?

Indian Air Force arming Russian-origin choppers with the Israeli 'non-line of sight (NLOS) ATGMs'. The Israeli Spike NLOS missile is being integrated into the Russian-origin fleet of Mi-17V5 helicopters. News agency ANI quoted officials - missile can prove to be very effective against enemy armoured columns. Ukrainian forces have effectively used anti-tank & anti-aircraft missiles against Russian armoured columns. Air-launched NLOS ATGMs can strike ground targets from standoff distances & damage enemy tank regiments.
