Jaishankar questioned about US-Pakistan ties, responds with ‘has a habit of overlooking history’ jab

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar boldly addressed U.S.-Pakistan relations, calling them a “politics of convenience” at the Economic Times World Leaders Forum 2025. Referring to the Abbottabad raid that killed Osama bin Laden, Jaishankar questioned the U.S' historical oversight in dealing with Pakistan.
