Resident Abdullah Abbas shared the video online, expressing distress over watching his house being destroyed. Lebanese media also reported demolitions of several homes in Zawtar al-Sharqiya. The Israeli military had not commented on the reports at the time of publication. The demolitions come amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah and discussions over security arrangements and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.
