Coast Guard's new made-in-India ship with Bofors gun, can carry chopper & boats

In a major boost for the government's 'aatmanirbhar bharat' campaign, the Indian Coast Guard received a new made-in-India ship on August 28. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commissioned 'Vigraha' at a ceremony in Chennai. The offshore patrol vessel has been designed and built by India's Larsen & Toubro Ship Building Ltd. It is equipped with advanced radars, Bofors guns, and can carry a twin-engine helicopter, and 4 high-speed boats. It also has equipment to control oil spills at sea. Watch the full video for more.
