'Fits the game plan of Hindutva': Sitaram Yechury on 'The Kashmir Files'

Senior Left leader and CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury believes that the recently released 'The Kashmir Files' movie has presented 'half-truth' about the events that led to the killings and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley in 1989-1990. Yechury told Hindustan Times in an interview irrespective of faith, people in Kashmir were targeted by the militants after the insurgency erupted in late 80s. The CPI (M) leader accused the makers of 'The Kashmir Files' of spreading hatred through the movie and also criticised PM Narendra Modi and ruling BJP for promoting the film. Watch the full interview.
