Gyanvapi row: DU prof held over FB post on Shivling; Students protest arrest

An associate professor with Delhi University has been arrested last night. Ratan Lal, who works with Hindu College was held by Delhi police over a Facebook post on reports of Shivling found inside Gyanvapi mosque complex in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi. He is accused of promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion and committing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony. His arrest sparked outrage with Delhi University's left-wing student groups like AISA and SFI protesting outside Maurice Nagar police station. Watch this video for more details.
