J&K: Five Terrorists Trained in Afghanistan Killed; Indian Army Foils Big Terror Plot

The Indian Army has thwarted a fresh terror plot in Jammu and Kashmir. Five foreign terrorists trained in guerrilla warfare in the Afghanistan-Pakistan theatre have been killed in an ambush laid by security forces near the line of control in Kupwara District, North Kashmir. A well-thought-out and tactically designed operation was launched by the Indian Army along with J&K police based upon specific intelligence about the likely infiltration of a group of five highly trained terrorists of the Jammu Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF). The Indian forces achieved success, as five terrorists were killed in the encounter in the Jumagund area of Kupwara.
