India and China have agreed to disengage from the Gogra-Hot Springs in the Eastern Ladakh sector. Both armies began the process of troop withdrawal from Patrol Point-15 after reaching a breakthrough in the 16th round of the India-China Corps Commander-level meeting on July 17. According to a joint statement published on the P.I.B., India and China called it 'conducive to the peace and tranquility in the border areas.'
