MP energy minister climbs electric pole to clean it, blames dust for power cuts

Video of Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister climbing an electricity pole has gone viral. MP Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar climbed a high tension electricity pole to clean it. Tomar cleaned weeds and branches from the pole after climbing it with the help of a ladder. “There were incidents of tripping due to dust, storms, etc. It is my duty to keep a check on whether people are having any trouble. I have spoken to relevant authorities regarding the maintenance. There should be no power cut and the MP govt will have to make sure of that,” Tomar said.
