Daughters of a farmer, 3 sisters crack Rajasthan Administrative Service exams

A farmer's three daughters have cracked the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) exam. The three sisters joined their elder sisters who are already serving as state govt officers. Anshu Saharan ranked 349 followed by Suman (915), Ritu (945) in results declared on June 14. The girls are residents of Bhairusari village in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district. They quit schooling after 5th grade & studied at home while preparing for the services. Their elder sisters – Roma & Manju – cracked RAS in 2010 & 2012 respectively. They are posted in Surajgarh of Jhunjhunu district and Nohar of Hanumangarh. Their only brother, Abhiraj, is preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Abhiraj is currently studying engineering at IIT, Mandi (Himachal Pradesh). Their father Sehdev Saharan said his children studied till Class 5 in the village. The siblings completed their graduation privately, cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET).
