Watch: Cops search Twitter's Delhi office over Congress toolkit row, say reports
A team of Delhi Police's Special Cell reportedly conducted searches at Twitter's offices in the national capital and neighbouring Gurugram on May 24. Reports said that the searches were linked to the ongoing Congress 'toolkit' controversy. Days earlier, BJP leader Sambit Patra had tweeted some images of what he called Congress' 'toolkit' to use the Covid-19 pandemic to defame Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and 'scar' the image of India. Congress called the 'toolkit' fake. Subsequently, Twitter labelled the tweets 'manipulated media'. The Union government had objected to Twitter's action. Watch the full video for more.
