Watch: Tejas fighter jet-maker HAL conducts ground trials of its civilian plane

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited built civil aircraft successfully carried out its ground run trials. The Hindustan-228 aircraft finished taxi trials for DGCA 'type certification' on Sunday. The event was part of the HAL's 75th independence day celebrations at its Kanpur facility. Hindustan-228 is a 19 seat multi-role utility aircraft built for various applications. The aircraft will be used for VIP transport, passenger transport and also as air ambulance.
