A day after Pakistan PM Imran Khan's TV debate offer to his Indian counterpart, two prominent Congress MPs Shashi Tharoor and Abhishek Manu Singhvi have advised PM Modi to not accept the offer for different reasons cited by both of them. While Tharoor said that TV debates are problematic and would only escalate the situation, Singhvi had a different take as he believes that any such engagement with Pakistan PM would give it a legitimacy despite exporting terror to India.
