Amid lockdown, paddler Sathiyan Gnanasekaran trains with a ‘robot’

Stuck indoors without a training partner amid nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, paddler G Sathiyan is continuing his practice alongside a robot 'friend' he brought from Germany. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sathiyan explains that the robot has the ability to launch up 120 balls per minute, with varied speed, and spin. “He's my friend and sparring partner these days,” Sathiyan says.
