‘Putin wanted talks; West partly responsible’: Ukraine Invasion explained

On day 2 of the Ukraine invasion, Russian troops marched into the capital city of Kyiv. This comes a day after they captured the Chernobyl nuclear plant. The west, NATO and the United Nations have condemned Vladimir Putin's attack strategy and have appealed for peace while threatening him with tough sanctions. But Putin had wanted to go to the talks table over the separatist regions in East Ukraine for years. Experts believe that the West is partly responsible for Putin's aggressive action in Ukraine.
